What customers say?

“ It's been a while since I visited, but it's such a lovely restaurant, so I thought I'd post this just to keep a record. I visited in December, so the menu is winter. The location and atmosphere are truly like a hidden gem. The restaurant is in the basement, but it's bright thanks to the way it lets in plenty of natural light. The food was generally authentic and honest, with dishes like ballotine, royale, and the main course of beef cheek stewed in red wine. However, the delicacy and deliciousness were clearly different from what you'd get at a bistro or other establishment. Although the restaurant was fully booked that day, there was no rush or excessive noise, and I was able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely like to return for a special occasion. ”

“ This Michelin-starred restaurant Visited for a weekday lunch 7,480 yen (tax and service charge included) lunch course It's a small, basement-level restaurant, but the glass windows give it an open feel. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The pacific saury mousse appetizer was especially delicious. It had absolutely no blue fishy smell, yet the pacific saury flavor was truly outstanding. Each dish was incredibly filling, and even though it was the lightest course, I was full before dessert. ”

“ I booked this lunch using a gift catalog from a friend as a wedding gift. It was my first holiday lunch outside in a while, so I was excited even before I arrived. And once I arrived, I was blown away by the delicious food. *Please note that I'm a little fuzzy on the names of the dishes, and they may vary depending on the season and day. ① Fromage Blanc with Dried Boar's Roe The salty flavor of the cheese was just right, and it really got me going from the appetizer. The combination of olive oil, cheese, and the ainame was delicious. ② Snow Crab and Scallop Tartare Terrine with Herbs Next was a cold appetizer, with the tartar's acidity just right, allowing me to enjoy the rich flavor of the crab. ③ Turnip Potage I never knew you could make potage soup with turnips! It really did have a turnip flavor. It made me want to try making potage at home using seasonal vegetables. ④ Roasted Domestic Beef Fillet The main course was roasted fillet. Before the main course arrived, we were allowed to choose our knife. Apparently it was from a famous restaurant, so it was very sharp, right? lol The portion of meat was generous, and we enjoyed it with a variety of flavors, including rock salt, mustard, and sauce. ⑤ Pear Comfort Ice Cream I forgot to take a photo of the dessert, but I remember it being delicious. lol Also, with the after-meal tea, we were served chocolate and macarons, which was a real treat. A sweet treat after a meal is a real treat. By the way, I'm not a big fan of alcohol, so I chose grape juice, which was just the right amount of sweet and easy to drink. I recommend it for people who don't like alcohol. ”

“ I've visited this restaurant several times a year for the past few years, except last year when the head chef was temporarily closing for personal reasons. Personally, I find the restaurant to have a tranquil atmosphere, with simple yet elegant decor. It's not crowded, probably because of its somewhat out-of-the-way location; it's about a 10-minute walk from either station. Compared to other French restaurants in Tokyo, the food here has always been quite robust, with a rich and mellow flavor, perhaps closer to authentic French cuisine without any attempts to cater to Japanese tastes. The portions are also larger than typical French restaurants. ”

“ Classic French with the chef bringing his personal touch. Enjoying some veal in Tokyo. Very nice. ”

“ A hidden French restaurant in Nishi-Azabu! It's in the basement, but there's a large space at the bottom of the stairs, so it's bright and has a great atmosphere. The champagne by the glass and the food were all absolutely delicious. I went for lunch, and 1,600 yen for a glass of champagne is an incredible deal for French cuisine of this level, isn't it? The staff were also wonderful, taking a Polaroid photo of me to celebrate my birthday and writing a cute message for me. I was also given some sweets to take home as souvenirs, so it was a truly wonderful birthday lunch. ”

“ This French restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It's a small, peaceful yet luxurious place perfect for a date or anniversary. I visited here for an anniversary lunch before the state of emergency was declared. The restaurant is small, but the interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff were very professional. The course meal was also delicious. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. I'd definitely like to return for dinner. I highly recommend it for dates, anniversaries, and more. ”
